5-Minute Quickstart
Create your Flametalk account, set up your first AI voice agent, and make a test call—all in under 5 minutes.
Prerequisites
- A Flametalk account (sign up is free)
- A phone to receive test calls
Create Your Account
Sign up for a free Flametalk account to get started.
- Go to flametalk.ai/signup
- Enter your email and create a password
- Verify your email address
- Complete the onboarding wizard to set up your workspace
Free tier includes
500 credits to start testing—enough for approximately 50 minutes of voice calls or 500 WhatsApp messages.
Create Your First Agent
Set up an AI agent with a custom personality and instructions.
- From your dashboard, click Agents in the sidebar
- Click the + New Agent button
- Give your agent a name (e.g., “Customer Support”)
- Add instructions to define your agent's personality and behavior
Example agent instructions:
You are a friendly customer support agent for Acme Inc. Your responsibilities:- Answer questions about our products and services- Help customers troubleshoot common issues- Schedule callbacks with human agents when needed Tone: Professional but warm. Be helpful and patient. If you don't know something, say so honestly and offer to connect the customer with a specialist.- Click Create Agent
Create a Voice Channel
Set up a phone number that your agent will answer.
- Navigate to Channels in the sidebar
- Click + New Channel
- Select Voice as the channel type
- Choose a phone number from the available inventory
- Link your newly created agent to this channel
- Configure voice settings (optional):
- Select from our ultra-human voice options
- Adjust speech speed and tone
- Enable call recording
- Click Create Channel
Make a Test Call
Test your agent by making a call to your configured phone number.
- On your channel page, find the Test Call section
- Enter your phone number
- Click Initiate Test Call
- Answer the call on your phone and talk to your agent!
That's it!
You've just deployed your first AI voice agent. The call is being recorded and transcribed automatically. After the call ends, you can view the full transcript and analytics in the Call Logs section.
